Lingerie with jewels

When I went to the mall this weekend, I was surprised to see how they have completely redesigned the lingerie store, but what really shocked me was a whole section full of thongs with jewels and all sorts of adornments, somewhat like what women are used to exhibiting on their waists these days. Looks as if women can now wear jewels both outside and inside. I thought it was very cute lingerie but before I go ahead and buy half-a-dozen of these thongs, I am wondering what your fashion experts think."

Yes, we have already checked out the new Victoria's Secret lingerie store and we agree with you that we were also highly impressed. We must admit that when our team went to look at the new store in our area, we too spent a great deal of time in the section of the store that you are talking about. What Victoria's Secret has brought for everyone now is what other online specialty lingerie stores have been selling for years. Or in other words, jewels are now "in" both outside and inside.

Here are some other trends we are seeing in lingerie:

• Women are choosing class and design over comfort. These jeweled thongs and other pieces of lingerie are not as comfortable as your plain, cotton underwear, but women are finally realizing that the effect on her mind is different when she chooses pretty lingerie.
• The less fabric the better. That seems to be the trend in our analysis of the latest designs. A lot of it is driven by the popularity of low-rise pants but also women are finally warming up to the idea of thongs and G-strings in everyday use.
• Women no longer buy pretty lingerie only when they get married or for special occasions. Like women in many other parts of the world, American women are now choosing to wear attractive lingerie for their own pleasure.

We have heard from many of our readers that they really like lingerie with jewels and other adornments (many of them are not made of plastic or metal but are made from same fabric as the item of lingerie). It definitely requires getting used to, especially if you have never worn thongs before. So it is a good idea to start off by wearing them at home first so that you can take them off if you do not like them after a few hours. But once you get used to them, you will wear them almost everywhere.
