Satellite radio basics

If you are a fan of Howard Stern and have missed listening to him, technology comes to your and his help: Stern is now available anywhere in the United States, courtesy of Sirius Satellite Radio. The point to note is that satellite radios are not just for listening to Howard Stern. In fact you can literally listen to every type of station that you want on your satellite radio, plus more, and all of them are commercial-free.

While Sirius is the company to pick if you are fan of Stern; if not, you have a choice. The other company is XM Radio. So compare the features and then pick the service based on what works best for you.
