Skincare for combination skin

More often than not most of us do not know very well what our skin type. After all no one ever taught you in school to identify your skin type. So what do we do? We just keep doing what we like and enjoy to do without realizing that we might actually end up damaging our skin in some ways because we are using the wrong skincare products for our skin type.

Let us read what Anita, a 22-year old woman from India is asking. "Sometimes I have dry and at other times I feel I have oily skin. And then acne often appears on my face. I drink a lot of water each day to stay hydrated but I am not sure if my skin is in good shape. Please suggest me something so that I can keep my skin beautiful."

Good apporach, Anita. Particularly because in India where temperatures can often cross 100F, it is a good idea to keep your skin hydrated by drinking water. But it also seems that you might actually have combination skin. Have you done a test to find out what type of skin you have? So first thing that you might want to do is to pick your skincare regimen by your skin type. If this chart does not tell you all, here are a few tests to identify your skin type.

Since we suspect that you might actually have combination skin, you must make sure that you take care of it accordingly. Recommended link: How to take care of combination skin?
