"I'm considered by majority of people I meet to be attractive, model attractive, although I've no interest in it. I've had my run of various men. And the older I get (now my mid-thirties, oh gosh!) I dwell less on looks and more on substance. A man with confidence is a must! And I hate to admit it...but I do want a man who appreciates and adores me. Not one that is a yes man, constantly praising me, but one who subtley shows that he cares. Case in point, recently met a man who although would never have registered on my "attractive male" radar has turned out to be someone I am really drawn to. He is confident. A world traveler. He seems to have a good grasp on what he wants out of life and goes for it. He seems kind and really appreciates me. He is definitely not what one would consider conventionally or traditionally attractive, but he has it going on. Its a shame many women overlook a not-so-attractive guy without getting to know him. Your advice to the men is well said. I hope they follow, beause if they do I know they will get what they want. If not at first or second, but eventually."
